A traditional Haitian drum made in the seaside hills of Jacmel Haiti by skilled drum artisans. The drums are made from a hollowed-out tree trunk of the breadfruit tree and carefully shaved down to perfection for maximum sound. The breadfruit tree springs several branches where it's cut. This is truly a regenerative process.
It is then bound with rope fashioned from recycled rice sacks. Each drum is unique in sizing as its made from the trunk of a tree.
